New Open Access journal eLife launches this week

Friday, December 21, 2012

Three major research funders--the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the Max Planck Society, and the Wellcome Trust--have joined forces with researchers from around the world to bring you eLife, a new Open Access journal. According to the journal website, the journal is intended to be "ground-breaking science, selected by experts, published without delay, open for greater influence."

The journal is slated to debut later this week, but there is a preview available on the journal website at http://www.elifesciences.org/.
