COAPI as "The Real Digital Change Agent"

The Chronicle of Higher Education has published a thought-provoking piece featuring the Coalition of Open Access Policy Institutions (COAPI), co-founded by KU. In the article, COAPI is referred to as "a revolutionary, democratizing force within higher education."

The author ponders the philosophical disconnect at institutions that promote Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), but don't also have Open Access policies, and speculates about the reasons why Open Access policies may not have been embraced more broadly at universities.
