Friday, October 26, 2012

Bernstein Research has released a report, Reed Elsevier: A Short History of Two Days in July (and Why Investors Should Care), that "reviews the potential impact on Elsevier of a transformation of the STM publishing model, triggered by the rising tide of Open Access mandates."

The report is currently available from Bernstein Research only with a subscription, but a news article in Paid Content, the Economics of Digital Content, entitled Open Access Research 'catastrophic' for Reed Elsevier, shares some highlights from the report.
